The Fypon Polyurethane Vertical Louvers features functional (venting) and decorative (non-venting) options, in a multitude of shapes to fit most architectural styles and sizes. Louvers are a building component that is installed into the side of a wall or gable for attic ventilation. Decorative louvers are for aesthetic purposes only as they have a solid, one-piece design that does not allow air to pass through. Designed to provide optimum ventilation, functional louvers feature angled slats to help protect interiors from the elements. The inside of the functional louver has a corrosion-resistant screen that helps keep insects out while allowing airflow between the slats. Available in Louvers with Flat Trim or with a Crosshead and Trim, these Fypon Louvers come as a pre-primed white finish and are weather resistant. To enhance the beauty of the louvers, Painting the Fypon vertical louvers with a 100% exterior grade acrylic latex paint will help create a long-lasting finish.
