The CertainTeed SmartCoat 370 Ultraseal Caulk is a silyl-modified polyether based multipurpose sealant used for bonding a variety of porous and nonporous construction materials. This adhesive creates a waterproof seal on most roofing materials including metal flashings, copings, and skylights. It can easily be applied using a caulk gun in damp or dry conditions. The CertainTeed SmartCoat 370 Ultraseal Caulk can be painted over with latex based paints or SmartCoat 400 Series Coatings approximately one hour after application.
