Product Details

The CertainTeed FlintPrime Quick Dry Asphalt Primer is a flexible, soft asphalt in a refined solvent that is used to prep roofing surfaces before application of modified asphalt membranes or built up roofing sheets. This asphalt primer spray permeates through orifices and seals dusty surfaces to provide a solid foundation for low slope roofing membranes. It is available as a 15 ounces aerosol to allow easy access to prime small detail areas where brush or spray rip application are not feasible. This asphalt primer for roofing can be used on metal, concrete, gypsum, masonry, or brick roofing substrates. The CertainTeed FlintPrime Quick Dry Asphalt Primer meets the requirements for ASTM D41.
