Description

The Kool Seal Elastomeric Base Coat provides maximal adhesiveness on metal, single ply, smooth BUR, modified bitumen, polyurethane foam, concrete, EPDM, and Hypalon surfaces. This elastomeric base uses a longstanding formula that will expand and contract with roofing surfaces. The Kool Seal Elastomeric Base Coat must be used in conjunction with the Kool Seal Elastomeric Finish Coat.

Provides an excellent surface for application of Kool Seal Elastomeric Finish Coats
Expands and contracts with roof
Can be used on metal roofing, single ply, smooth BUR, modified bitumen, polyurethane foam, concrete, EPDM, Hypalon, and existing asphaltic and elastomeric roof coatings. Not for use on roof shingles.
Specifications
Color Options: Gray
Coverage: 50-100 sq. ft. per gallon, per coat. Two coats recommended. Rough/porous surfaces will require additional coats. This product must be top coated with a Kool Seal Elastomeric Finish Coat.
Exposure to rain or heavy dew: 4-6 hours dry time
Exposure in-between coats and before foot traffic: 24 hours dry time
Recommended tools: 3/8"-1/2" nap roller, broom, or spray
Cleans up with warm, soapy water
