The Marathon 4-inch Aluminum Insulvent is a one-way or two-way vent that provides pressure equalization in the roof system. It is spun from heavy gauge aluminum with a unique cap design that shields against entry of wind-blow rain or snow. It is commonly used with all types of insulation and is simple to install. The air vents can reduce trapped air and moisture which can cause a reduction in thermal protection of the insulation and roof membrane system, leading to roof deck damage.
