GRK RSS Structural Screws

The GRK RSS Structural Screws are top of the line structural screws. They are made of specifically hardened steel to provide high tensile, torque, and strength and feature sharp threads and points to penetrate into the material with ease and have smaller shanks to prevent splitting. RSS structural screws have a six threaded CEE thread that enlarges the screw hole for the non-threaded portion of the fastener, allowing the wood to settle easily and increasing the screw’s drawing strength. The CEE thread also reduces the friction on the screw shank which can result in lowering the driving torque and the likelihood of splitting the wood. These structural fasteners from GRK are great for interior and exterior uses on materials such as carrying beams, stair rails, deck posts, ledger boards, playground equipment, and other professional applications.
