The Rust Oleum V2100 System Rust Reformer Spray is a high performance spray that will prevent rust and dries to a hard, flat-black finish. It has a coating that bonds with rusty metal and instantly transforms it into a non-rusting surface. This specially formulated coatings a saline additive which is capable of reacting with iron oxide in the rusted steel. Rust Reformer manufactured by Rust Oleum is for use on sound rusted steel surfaces and is not intended for use on clean metal or galvanized steel.
