The R4 screws are self-tapping, countersinking into even the hardest woods, the 6 self-contained cutting pockets act like a router and transport the drill dust away from the edge of the screw hole. The CEE enlarges the screw hole for the non-threaded portion of the fastener to reduce splitting. The screw head closes the hole off with precision, leaving no damaged fibers around the head.
