GRK RSS Joist and Trust Screws

The GRK RSS Joist and Trust Screws, also known as the RSS JTS fasteners, is ideal for any interior or exterior applications such as joists and trusses, retaining walls, ledger boards, log and timber framing, and heavy duty roof and floor applications. They are manufactured of a specially hardened steel that will provide a high tensile, torque and shear strength. RSS Joist and Truss screws come equipped with sharp points and threads that will bite instantly into the material. This reduces the amount of splitting due to smaller shanks. Each screw has a nominal diameter added shoulder underneath the built in washer head that has the ability to center the screw into certain pre-drilled hardware such as connector plates and hinges. GRK manufactures the RSS JTS screws to have no sharp edges and requires no pre-drilling unless the material requires it to be.
